This past Sunday, we celebrated the 2nd anniversary of the arrival of our little "monster," Devin. On May 22nd, 2009, we welcomed this little baby into our family:
Now, we have this little monster to spend our days (and nights) with!
Yes, we get this look a LOT!
We celebrated by having G&G Zafft over for dinner along with our lovely next-door neighbors who happen to have a little girl who is 3 days younger than Devin (we were both at the same hospital for a day both delivering our second children but didn't actually cross paths).
Grandma Zafft picked out a delicious ice cream cake at Coldstones and we sang happy birthday. Devin wasn't quite sure what to make of the burning candles on top of the cake but was very interested in the chocolate chips!
We did get a little cheer when Daddy helped blow the candles out!
The cake was met with approval from the birthday boy.
But the day quickly ended much like his first birthday party.
