There are many activities I enjoy that may seem strange to the general population- public speaking, going on interviews, ironing... These are activities that the normal sane person avoids. So to add one to the list, I enjoy doing our taxes every year. Yes, there have been a few mistakes made in the past but finishing our taxes makes me feel like I just ran a marathon or baked a seven layer cake!
As it turns out, I finished our taxes yesterday and received two emails last night stating the federal government and the state of Massachusetts both accepted our returns (even with them owing us money)! Now I get to enjoy the day I check our bank statement and find a bunch of surprise money. Yee-haw!
