Valentine's Day... on a Budget!

We've been trying to keep to a somewhat tight budget recently so we can pay back some loans we took out to make improvements on the house. We're also planning on installing central air next month so money is a precious commodity. Add to the fact that Valentine's day comes only 51 days after Christmas and you get a rather small budget for celebrating this Hallmark holiday.

Not to be discouraged, though, Ian managed to get me two-dozen long stemmed flowers. Aren't they lovely?

Aiden was very impressed with the flowers though he keeps trying to smell them...

It took Ian about FIVE hours to fold all these flowers and he ingeniously used straws as stems!
