It was a wet Independence Day here in the greater Boston area but we managed to make the best of it. We started off with a visit to a local playground we like in Braintree. Even though the equipment was soggy (we took a towel along) we managed to get in some good, hard playing and had fun!
Everyone got in on some excitement on the slides!
As an aside, check out the new shoes! Kohls had some cute sandals on sale for Aiden that are open in the back but keep his toes covered.
And I recently picked up a new pair of athletic shoes at Marshalls for a great price (best of all, they don't make my feet hurt)!
After naps, we headed to G&G Zafft's house (minus the grandparents who are actually out in Seattle) to meet up with Ian's brothers for a little barbecue. Aiden played with balls...
Ian seared some meat...
And we actually worked in some vegetables, too!
