Indoor fun on a rainy day

The past Friday was wet, wet, WET here. I am managing the mother/child play group again and had planned a visit to the Canton Totplex which is only a few minutes from our house. Devin was SUPER ready to get out and had his shoes and jacket on (with assistance, of course) about 30 minutes before we needed to go.

As soon as we were inside the building (a large indoor sports complex with soccer fields and an ice rink), he was ready to play but had to wait for me to sign us in, pay our money, and get his shoes off.

The Totplex has toys in various areas of a large soccer field and Devin immediately gravitated to the toys meant for younger toddlers.




The balls, of course, were a big favorite, too!




He found a zebra to ride (I actually have a picture of Aiden on the same toy when he was around the same age).


But, mostly, he did a lot of running from one end of the field to the other.




We had fun for about 90 minutes and then started to slow down a bit. With a lot of resistance, I put Devin in the car and we headed for home. He was asleep within about 5 minutes and took a nice long NAP! Totally worth the $8 entry fee!
