Summer, Sun, Sand, and Strawberries

Last week we had a project going on in the house (I'll post pictures soon) that drove us out of the house so the contractor could do his work. We found ourselves enjoying some very warm, sunny weather at the beach and a little less-sunny weather at the berry farm.

On Tuesday, we headed to Nantasket Beach in Hull for some of this:

We enjoyed the waves a bit, but spent more time in some warm tide pools.






It was a fun day at the beach!


On Wednesday, we headed to Ward's Berry Farm in Sharon to pick strawberries! The strawberries were a bit picked-over but we had a good time regardless.

Aiden kept his eyes peeled for good berries.


Devin was a good picker...


...but ate most of his findings.


We discovered a robin's nest snuggled in a strawberry plant that was really neat just before it started to rain.


We eneded our visit at the 4H barn to see some animals and headed home as the rain really picked up.


It was a crazy/busy week with lots of outings and a lot of fun!
