Family Days

With Ian working four 10-hour shifts, we have him home Sunday through Tuesday which allows us to go out and enjoy some of the fun activities Boston has to offer with fewer crowds. Today we made a rather impromptu visit to the Museum of Science (MOS) and took in the IMAX film, Antarctica. Aiden had seen the preview for Antarctica when we drove past the MOS on Saturday after he rode the train in with Ian (for the history on these trips, see this post). He asked most of Saturday and Sunday to "go see the penguins" so we figured, "Why not?"

One of Aiden's favorites no matter what type of museum we go to: the balls!

Devin being cute with his reflection

The joy of a high-powered fan and a beach ball!

Waiting for the IMAX film to start

In the little kids' adventure area

More double handsome-ness with Devin!

Aiden's other big favorite: WATER!

Investigating some fossils

Looking at some newly-hatched baby chicks (don't ask where they go after kids are done staring at them through the glass)

The cool ball "sculpture" thing (officially the Archimedean Excogitation kinetic sculpture)

Like father, like son

It was a fabulous day topped off with dinner at PF Chang's! Can't beat it!
