Chilly visit to the Zoo

Yesterday we took the kids to the Portland zoo! It was a somewhat chilly day, though, so we rented a wagon and brought some blankets to keep the yahoos warm and comfy.


It worked for a while but then they both discovered they could get out and the coldness started to creep up on them.

As usual, Aiden's favorite part was looking at the sheep/goats and chasing a wandering peacock!




Our other favorite part? Yep! The lorikeets!




Then the yahoos got too chilly and we had to cut our visit short but since my parents have a pass to the zoo we can come back and do it again when the weather is warmer.
