Our visits to the city (meaning Boston, of course)...

Ian's cousin, Sarah, was visiting us from Seattle with her boyfriend, Chris, for the weekend so we made a few trips into the city.

We took a Duck Tour of Boston which is always fun. The last time we took one was when Aiden was only a few weeks old. True to form- he fell asleep. But it was a much needed nap and allowed us to enjoy the tour rather than trying to convince him not to try swimming in the Charles. This is a picture of one of the other "ducks" that was on the river at the same time as ours.

We then took a walk around the city and stopped down at Copley Square by Trinity Church.

There are two statues on the square there- a tortoise and a hare. We figured since we have some old pictures of us sitting on the statues, we should have one of Aiden.

But he was more interested in the fountain.

We also stopped by the Boston Public Gardens and tried to get a picture of Aiden riding one of the statues there also without much luck. These statues are a tribute to the book "Make Way for Ducklings" which is based on a true story that took place in Boston many years ago. Aiden was more interested in the real life geese and ducks as well as trying to get into the pond. But we got a quick picture of him almost riding a duck.

We also played in the grass for a while which was a great highlight for Aiden after riding around in the stroller for so long!

Ian may have enjoyed it, too.

Grandpa and Grandma Wrzesinski come visit in only 9 more days so check back for more fun vacation pictures!
